PRO TOOLS
I use Pro Tools to create the custom tracks. Starting with adding in the reference, click, and markers. From there, I lay the foundation tracks or loops, then build and add in the hooks, and percussion tracks. After that, I can go back and really dial in the sound I'm looking for and level everything. When I am finished I bounce out the loop, hook, and percussion.

In Ableton I add the loop, hook, and percussion tracks and have eached routed to a different return track. I label each song section, add guides and dynamic guides, and click and tempo. From there, I add repeats and locators for each section. I have locators labelled for a liobox and repeats mapped to the key “r” to be able to repeat a section on the fly during a service. If we go to a new section or something spontaneous, I have each return set with a cut off filter and mapped to faders to bring tracks or parts in and out.
